Tramping over the moors of Scotland and through the heather armed with my sketchbook and a slab of dark chocolate makes me feel alive and inspired, capturing the ever-changing weather patterns and rhythms.
In the sanctuary of my studio, I explore the deeper sense of colour I have experienced on these hikes, surrounded by my outdoor sketches and the music in our house.
