It was simply too cold in my studio! Life drawing provided the solution...comfortable heater on for the model....
Tramping over the moors of Scotland and through the heather armed with my sketchbook and a slab of dark chocolate makes me feel alive and inspired, capturing the ever-changing weather patterns and rhythms. In the sanctuary of my studio, I explore the deeper sense of colour I have experienced on these hikes, surrounded by my outdoor sketches and the music in our house.
